Debt Payoff Assistant App Reviews

I have been using this app for about seven months now. So far, it is has helped me greater appreciate our true debt against what we say our plan is. I am hopeful that future updates would allow for a change in the amount towards debt that you would like to pay off each month, instead of requiring you to adjust all previous payments. This would come in handy for the times when your budget may be a little extra generous or the opposite. All in all an awesome app for the price!

I love this app. I already knew the snowball method but seeing the payoff dates and the time it takes to pay off entirely really gives me an added incentive. Thanks!

I would give this 5 stars Id there was a way to add your own actual patent dates outside of the schedule. My first payments would start on 7/25 but the app starts the schedule on 8/25?!? Also, I made payments today but there is no option to add my own actual and extra payment! Otherwise, I love this visually and for its simplicity

I love this easy to use, streamlined visual of my debt AND my payoff goals! It actually gets me excited to be able to click off another payment and see the progress! Couple of small changes I would like to see: ability to "cancel" a payment because of forbearance (not our choice, the banks, while they determine the status of a loan forgiveness application), and second, being able to adjust the snowball amount from month to month without losing progress on the payments already made. Otherwise, so pleased with this app, and would recommend it for anyone motivated to pay off multiple student loans, credit cards and car loans!

This app could use some more development. I like how i could easily see a payoff projection and email it. It was also nice to see a clear culmative total and assign icons. I was a little confused how to edit my ballpark guesses into their real numbers. It seemed one of the edit buttons didnt actually let you edit anything. The most disappointing part was (i guess i thought the app icon was actually indicating that there would be a bar graph feature with this app. I would love to see an "over time" chart and a predictive snowball line chart feature. Also liked the variety and quality of design on the icons you can assign to accounts. I thought i could use a few more medical icons, a construction-type one, maybe a few other color cars and a ccard one with a "D" on it (discover)

Wish you could add to a balance. For example: get more medical expense or make a purchase on credit card. Basics are nice.

I like that the app has all the debts laid out in one place and are easy to manage. Love all the current features, but it would be better if the debts allowed a start date feature. I tried adding a new vehicle and it tries starting over the date that I started using the app!

I was using this app and really liked it. I was just learning how to use it when all of a sudden it no longer works in landscape mode only in portrait. Portrait cuts off most of the information, thus this app is useless until they fix it. I posted the problem on their Facebook page, but no response as of this time. I am not only one having this issue.

In concept this is a really cool app and a great way to track your debt. However, the execution leaves much to be desired. Ive been using this for a year and havent had a single payment marked as paid automatically, so I decided to delete my accounts and start over again last month only to discover that the app is stuck a year behind! Youre better off using the lite version and saving yourself the cost of this app. I wish there was a way to get my money back for a faulty app.

Best debt pay off app out there!!! You definitely should get it... I like how it has payment plans, calculators, progress reports, etc.

This was perfect for what I wanted/needed. A simple app which showed my payoff dates. Very easy to use. However, I gave it four stars because the app only allowed the payoff of three months in advance. Id like to play with extra pymt amts. Fix this and Id give it the five stars it deserves.

Wish you could set up pay off plan to make payments weekly.

Enter your loan, interest rate, monthly payment, due date and you are presented with an amortization table. At the appointed date, your payment turns green on the amort table indicating a payment was made. And there is a way to add money on the principal should you have some additional cash. However, if you miss a payment, you will have to delete the account and reenter the information. You also get some graphs that show your progress along the way. If you do make your regular payments then this is a useful app.

Ive been using this app for a couple months, but the payments are not being recorded and turning green like the directions say that they will. So, each debt is still showing no payments, the amount is not going down, and you cant manually record a regular payment because it wont allow zero to be I the extra payment box. Lame! I was really excited about this app.

For the last three weeks, the app hasnt been working. It crashes constantly, forcing reboots of my iPad. For what its supposed to do, it would be fine, except I cant add to the payments. So if my payment is $100 but every couple of months I pay a little more, I can only add one extra payment . This just needs a lot of work

When entering debts, you cant enter a mortgage with any accuracy. There is no place to enter your taxes and insurance so the payment on the principal is WAY off! This will only lead to inaccurate pay off date and frustration when you realize you wont be out of debt when the app says. The mortgage calendar has these options, why are they not part of the debt program??? If you have a mortgage, this app is worthless!
